大腸癌發生有年輕化趨勢，一名28歲蘇姓男子，平日不菸、不酒且重視養生，數月來莫名腹脹腹痛就醫十餘次，都被認為是腸胃炎，最後經電腦斷層掃描發現是大腸癌第三期，正接受化療中。

馮啟彥懷疑，根據蘇男自述，本身不菸、不酒，且注重養生，飲食作息都相當正常，加上年僅28歲，又無家族病史，「當初診治醫師可能沒聯想到是大腸癌」。

醫師指出，大腸癌初期皆無症狀，等到開始脹痛不適時，多半已為大腸癌第三期，而大腸癌若發生在右側常出現血便，左側則較容易腸阻塞，兩種狀況較不同。

馮啟彥也說，大腸癌的發生年齡層有逐漸年輕化的趨勢，大千綜合醫院近日連續出現兩起年輕人大腸癌阻塞腸道案例，除蘇姓男子外，另一名是33歲莊姓男子，平日多外食，且長期抽菸，症狀為腹痛、腹脹，但無明顯血便，同樣確診大腸癌第三期，兩人均以腹腔鏡手術切除後，接受化療中。

醫師提醒，若出現不明腹痛、腹脹、血便、體重減輕、解便習慣改變、或有解便解不乾淨的感覺等大腸癌相關症狀，一定要盡速就醫，才能早期診斷、早期治療。
